Skill Development programs

In India, Only 5% of the Indian labor force in the age group of 20-24 years has obtained vocational skills through formal means. About 63% of the school students drop out at different stages before reaching high school
8 million people enter the labor market every year.
(Ministry of Labor and Employment, GOI)
These statistics ensure that large number of youth do not have access to skill development for improving their employ-ability who find themselves inept at supporting their family due to absence of any professional skill, yet there are very few training programs accessible to early drop outs.
These initiatives aim to improve the employ-ability of the youth including school drop-outs, semi-skilled and un-skilled workers.

These programs include
1. Basic computer and Internet uses
2. computer skills Development – MS Office, Tally, Corel Draw, Page maker and Photoshop
3. Spoken English Improvement : for the youth to enhance probability of their employment as today’s multi-cultural
and multi-lingual work environment uses English as a standardized means of communication
4. Motivational speeches and storytelling sessions:
To inculcate Indian cultural values and revive ancient Indian wisdom to make them self-reliant and develop
nationalism in young minds.

The projects also assist the youth in filling job application forms,
preparing CVs and conduct mock interviews to groom them for the purpose of an interview.
We could arrange 7 desktop computers with internet connection for these various vocational training programs.
More and more youngsters joining in each new batch, we are lacking 2 desktop computers and high-speed internet
connection to run all program successfully.
